COVID CLEANING PROTOCOLS
- Covid related restrictions and recomendations are changing constantly and we follow all current regulations issued by the Welsh Assembly.
- Our cottages are cleaned and sanitised to the Covid Ready Guidelines from PASC UK (Professional Association of Self Caterers).
- We use products that kill 99.99% of viruses as well as bacteria and fungi and are also non-toxic. These products contain the active ingredient Hypochlorous and are supplied by Liquid Medical. They do no contain alcohol and are not harmful to the environment.
- Cottages are thoroughly cleaned with each surface being cleaned and disinfected with special attendance to all touch points.
- Where possible we leave the cottage empty 24-48 hours between bookings.
- Linen and towels are washed at 60 degrees.
- Guests are asked to strip beds and bag up linen and towels and open the cottage windows before leaving.
- Social distancing of 2m is required in the grounds and the local area.
- The key to your cottage will be left in the door for you to let yourselves in. A welcome folder with comprehensive information about the local area is provided.
- We have staff on site during weekday working hours, if you need to contact us please come to the office in Waunifor Mansion, ring the bell and wear a mask.
- Please do not come to Waunifor if you are displaying any covid symptoms.
- If you develop any symptoms whilst staying with us you must immediately go and get tested. Full details are provided in each cottage. The result must be shown to us and if positive you will need to leave and to provide the names, telephone numbers and email addresses of everyone in the party so that we can pass this on to the NHS if required.
- Please wash your hands regularly with soap and/or use the hand sanitiser provided.
- There is a requirement to wear a face covering in public indoor spaces throughout Wales and on public transport.
- Track and Trace details are required in advance.
- If your booking has to be cancelled because Waunifor is put under Government retsrictions you can either rebook your dates or have a refund. We will retain a 5% administration charge.
- In the event that your home address is put into local/regional/national lockdown rendering you unable to travel and the period of retsriction covers your booking, you can either rebook your dates or have a refund. We will retain a 5% administration charge.
